MacBook Air 2018 haptic feedback not working

Hi,

The haptic feedback on my macbook air 2018 stopped working; I tried reseting NVRAM and SMC but no luck. Apple diagnostics show that there is no hardware issue in my mac. Updating macOS or even testing with a new user didn't help. Please provide a solution.

Thanks

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.4

Disable Hepatic Feedback.

Restart your Mac.

Enable it.

Force Touch trackpad must have power to click

Your Force Touch trackpad doesn't click when it's turned off, because it needs power to provide haptic feedback (like clicks). This applies to Magic Trackpad as well as Force Touch trackpads built into Mac notebook computers.
