Will Lossless be available in iTunes for Windows?
Windows, Windows 10
Given that Apple has removed my link, responding to your other post they have also deleted, from Apple Insider because I was being "speculative", this is Apple's own release, it clearly names the web-player and android: https://www.apple.com/uk/newsroom/2021/05/apple-music-announces-spatial-audio-and-lossless-audio/
Note, the release is named Apple Music Announces...lossless audio and then notes that Apple Music is available in android and as a web player. It also says Apple Music Subscribers - not just those with Apple devices
"Apple Music will also make its catalog of more than 75 million songs available in Lossless Audio. Apple uses ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) to preserve every single bit of the original audio file. This means Apple Music subscribers will be able to hear the exact same thing that the artists created in the studio."
"Apple Music is also available on popular smart TVs, smart speakers, Android and Windows devices, and more — as well as online at music.apple.com."
About lossless audio in Apple Music --> https://support.apple.com/HT212183
Read about supported platforms in the link I provided. I do not see Windows.
I have tried asking this of their customer service, online chat and even their press contacts. None of them knows, They simply quote this article. One of the most bungled, poorly managed launches in Apple's history - and there has been a few. No now there seems to know
There is a release, somewhere, from them naming android and the Apple Music web player. The latter is available in windows, of course.
The two statements are not necessarily associated.
