Video files to dvd

Hello, I’m trying to put some iPhone videos onto dvd., they range from 2min-18min. In length. They are mov. Files and I do use iCloud. When I try to do it, it says must be used when online. Both my laptop and phone are online with cellular and both wifi. The files say they are too large to send in any type of way that I try. So I’m trying to put them on dvd. Im at my wits end I’m trying to do this. I’ve never had problems with writing anything to dvd in past, but have never used iPhone video files.

Hi tycrue,

Thanks so much for clarifying. In that case, since you mentioned that you use iCloud for your Photos, we can recommend the steps in this guide to fully download your video files on your PC, under the section titled, "Download your photos and videos from iCloud Photos":

Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support

If you should experience any issue downloading the full video files following these instructions, we can recommend visiting the iCloud.com website directly to attempt to download the affected video files from your web browser. Here's a guide to help:

Upload and download photos using iCloud.com - Apple Support

Let us know if this helps, or if you've got any questions. If you're able to download the videos, and require further assistance with your DVD authoring software, you'll want to reach out to the developer of the application directly.

Take care!

Hi tycrue,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! We appreciate you reaching out for help with this issue you're experiencing burning your iPhone videos to DVD. We're glad to point you in the right direction.

So that we're on the same page, let us know more about what's going on. Which app are you using to burn your DVD?

Are the video files downloaded from iCloud on your computer? If you use the Photos app, you can drag video files directly from within Photos to your desktop or to a folder in Finder, so that they're downloaded and saved on your hard drive.

The following guide has more information to help with exporting:

We'd also like to share this guide with instructions to help burn a DVD:
