COVERAGE EXPIRED ON NEW IPHONE

I HAVE PURCHASED A NEW IPHONE XS MAX TOMORROW BUT IT IS SHOWING INVALID PURCHASE DATE AND SHOWING COVERAGE EXPIRED IN THE SEYTTINGS PLSS HELP ME WITH THIS

The iPhone XS was discontinued nearing 2 years ago now and Apple has not sold it new since September 2019. So while you may have bought an unused iPhone XS it was not truly new (I.e. never sold at retail before). Since the warranty started the day it was originally sold by Apple or an Apple authorized seller, it must have first been sold over one year ago, so the original warranty has expired.
