My iphone storage is full but I only have just over 1k photos and hardly any apps on the phone, when I look in the settings, it shows the space is taken up by 'other' in the gray area, it shows the apps and photos are taking only maybe 10% of the space. What can I do to fix this, what is OTHER???

Backup and restore (I recommend the computer method if you have one)

(2) Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings – Apple Support
(3) Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup
Thank you! I backed up the phone and just ended up taking it to my local provider. All fixed up now.
