ICloud account email is grayed out and I cannot change it. How can I change it?

My iCloud account is grayed out on may iPad and iPhone and computer and I cannot change it It was previously set up as my email account that I no longer have access to or use; How can I change it?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.3

Approve of the Device:

If things are greyed out, then you may have to re-approve of your device. This commonly occurs after upgrades and installations.

  1. Open: iTunes
  2. Go to: Account menu
  3. Hover Over: Authorizations
  4. Select: Authorize This Computer...
  5. Log In: Using your Apple ID credentials
