Safari Won't Open
Just migrated data from iMac to new 2021 24" iMac. Now Safari says I do have permission to open the app even though signed in as administrator.

Thanks P Phillips. Took almost 3 hours to reinstall 11.3 OS, but that did solve the problem.
Am thinking the Old Safari is not compatible with the New iMac running Big Sur on the M1 Chip. If that is factual the only option I see is Restart in Recovery Mode Start up a Mac with Apple silicon in safe mode as per below - an choose Reinstall macOS. This should over write the Old Safari with the Safari for M1 Big Sur version.
Try the Control and click and grant permission
You could try to make a new user and use the Mac with that or you can create a new admin user that could go into parental control.
Welcome and Thank you too :-))
Sorry the long process - 3 hours download but Most Important - Safari will now function on this new M1 iMac.
Enjoy and do come back to the ASC Forums if / when more question arise. There are many Contributors willing to assist.
Thanks. Not able to open with control and click.
What was migrated from Old to New ? Everything including Applications too ??
Everything was migrated including applications.
Thanks. Previous computer had Big Sur 11.2.3 OS. Reinstalling 11.3 now to see if that solves the problem. Will let you know after install.
Yes please keep us updated on success or otherwise - it time permits.
