Printer Issues - Stopped - 'Filter' Failed

I've gotten this message a few times now while using an Epson printer on my iMac. It drives me insane! BUT, I've found ways to fix the issue through these forums. The latest and greatest info in my opinion without going through a lot of other unnecessary steps, is to assure your printer's driver/firmware is updated if you haven't in a while (go to your printer manufacturer's website and look for a download for this for your specific printer, typically under utilities or something like that) and then choose the correct printer and share it (check off box in preferences if you have a Mac).
