Contacts App opens but addressbook does not open

I open Contacts one my iMac. The menu bar opens but nothing is visible on the display; pull downs or address book window.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Apple Contacts launches but will not open I am unable to access my contacts on my Mac. The app launches, but then will not open -- I cannot see any names/addresses. The Contacts app does appear in Force Quick. Force Quit is the only way to quit the app. I am running Big Sur (11.4)on a Mac Mini M1. I've only had this computer for 2 weeks. Contacts was working fine for the first 10 days before the problem appeared. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

I cannot open my contacts application on my macbook anymore Suddenly my contacts application is not opening anymore, I tried with SHIFT and restart and safe mode, I tried deleting the V22 files in application support but nothing works. How can I solve the problem?

MacOS Contacts disappear while entering! I open the Contacts app, click on the plus sign to enter a new contact, and the new contact page appears. I enter first & last name, start entering an email address or phone number and - *poof* - the new contact window disappears. I end up with a "No Name" card with none of the information I entered is in it. I tried restarting, and the problem persists. The only way I seem to be able to enter a new contact is through iCloud, and that's a hassle. Any idea what's going on or how I can fix it? Thanks! MacBook Pro M1 (2020) MacOS 12.5.1

Set up iCloud on all your devices

Already have all devices on iCloud. The problem is only with the iMac. Tried reinstalling Big Sur and deleting AddressBook from Library/ApplicationsSupport and restart.
