Airtags missing in Find my on other iOS Device - Not syncing via iCloud?

My issue is similar, couldn’t add the tags to my iphone. Kept getting a out of range error.

was able to add them to my iPad ( I thought they would also show in iPhone lol) but CANNOT see any in the find my app on any other devices. (All managed my the same Apple ID.)

I had this problem when moving to a new phone. I ended up removing one of the AirTags on my old phone and then adding it on my new phone. When I did that it said the new phone needed some changes to enable end to end encryption, and I said ok and added the AirTag. After that all my AirTags showed on both devices.

They should propogate to all iOS and Mac devices signed-in w/ the same AppleID.

However, this synchronization does NOT appear to be instantaneous (or even same day)

How long ago did you pair the tags using your phone?

I’d also suggest a power-off and restart of your recently updated phone if you’ve not done so already. (can’t do any harm)

After upgrading to IOS 15 I purchased an AirTag 4-pack. I successfully registered them. 2 to my iPhone 11 and 2 to my wife’s iPhone 11.

None of them show up in Find My on either of our phones. Everything is set up correctly in settings and I even change the batteries on the AirTags. Very disappointing!

Turns out it was my error, the solution was so simple although I never remember seeing this mentioned anywhere and I don’t believe it’s shown in the packaging for the AirTags.

So, in the Find My app Devices was selected showing all my Apple devices like my iPhone, iPad, watch, and Mac. Air Tags doesn’t show up in the Device list. You have to click on Items, just to the right of Devices. AirTags show up and items. Geez!

The AirTags are not showing up in my iPhone 12promax with ios 15.1.1.

I tried resetting the tag and pairing it. The pairing is successful but still does not show up in findmy devices.

I tried with another new tag and even with the new tag I have the same issue of pairing successfully but not displaying in the devices list in find my app.

I had to reset the AirTag and add it again to get it to show up. After that the Items tab went from empty to showing the same tag twice. I solved that by maybe signing out of iCloud and back in, but since it was over a week ago I have, of course, totally forgotten how I solved the duplicate problem.

The hardest part really was getting the AirTag open. Almost impossible to twist the back. After I did, though, I was able to follow the reset instructions that were on Apple's support site.

I have the same issues mentioned above when trying to view my AirTags on icloud.com/find. They show up just fine on my iPad (as an Item), but do not show up on the web. When I click "All Devices," "All Items" does not show up as an option.

This is maddening. Already called AppleCare. Already reset it a bunch of times. Apple just swapped out my AirTag in the store and after pairing, the new one also disappeared. Apple, you are making it less and less fun to get new stuff. This completely defeats the purpose of getting an AirTag, so you can see where your item is!

Yes I finally figured it out also. It’s completely ridiculous that neither employees at the Apple Store nor the employees contacted via Apple Care knew this. The roll out seems like it was poorly done, if not skipped all together for Apple Employees. That is very shoddy and disappointing.

My problem too. My neighbor said he connected air tag to phone and it automatically went to iPad. Mine won’t and I’m on the same plan. Companion phone shows up on iPad and IPhone but not 4 air tags. Come on Apple !

I have the same problem. In my iPhone I can see all my devices, including my airtags, but in the Mac Application the airtags aren't showing, just phones, iPads and computers...

I got the same problem right after I updated to iOS 15. They show On the cloud account but not on find my app (iPhone)

I also have a problem where all the AirTags are missing from FindMy on my iPhone. It just has a button to “Add Item”.
