Malicious pics won't delete from iCloud

I've recently been having hacking, malware or something getting on my phone via the iCloud. On a desktop now and see there are a few greyed out 'pictures' that won't delete. When I inspect them they are definitely malicious and, I believe, the root of my problem. Please help if you can!! I just switched to Apple last year because all of my info was leaked by 5 separate companies and all of my Google and Microsoft kept getting hacked.

I have every possible means of security as well...2-Step and an Authenticator app. I don't even have WiFi anymore and only use my iPhone as a hotspot via USB. This is so frustrating.

Images that won't render but—when inspected—are malicious? Out of curiosity, how are you inspecting these images?

As for deletion of those images? Log into iCloud.com and delete the images that you no longer wish.

For security generally, change your Apple ID password to a unique and robust value, and enable two-factor authentication, if that's not already enabled. Two-step is older, and no longer preferred. Also confirm you recognize all devices logged into your Apple ID. This list of logged-in devices info is also available via iCloud.com.

And don't re-use any passwords. That ends badly.
