The issues with adding a family member started with actually being able to add a member via the Apple Music app, the app was sending a verification two factor 6 digit number to one of my other devices, which I have no clue what are they, so I installed iTunes and deleted all PCs from the 10 PCs supported assuming it will send the code to my only Apple ID device, my Android phone.
Tried again to get the 6 digit code, but for some reason the code was received only after entering a random number, did this procedure several times (now using the SMS code I got) and after some tries the Apple Music allowed me to add a new Family member. I would say that it sounds like the two factor authentication has a bug since it accepted a code that is not the most recent, caching the codes?
The above procedure was performed twice, to make sure I am not missing something.
Then I tried enabling the Apple Music Family share from the new phone using all online methods, had a long mail thread with Apple support which did not give any fruit, after a frustrated weekend and several hours investment, I switched to Spotify!
Spotify Family addition went smooth (as I expected Apple to be), it is pity Apple Android experience is so horrible for a SW developer, don't understand how do other none tech users manage it.
So long Apple Music :(
