Safari problems (14.1 and 14.1.1)

I've been having many problems with Safari since installing 14.1 on my MacBook Pro running Mojave 10.14.6. I upgraded to the supposedly fixed Safari (14.1.1) and the new security update. However it didn't fix my problems. I noticed that the version number is correct but the build number seems to be wrong. Any ideas about what's going on and how to fix it? Everything works in Firefox but I really prefer Safari.

Pretty variable but the biggest problem is that I can no longer print from my bank account. Also, no videos will play on Facebook. ( This may be another FB problem.) I've also had links to sites I use all the time, refuse to work. As I said, everything works fine in Firefox. I'm also worried about the build number since I think that the one that is showing up in "about Safari' is the same as for 14.1.

OS 10.14.6, Safari 14.1.1, mid-2012 MBP Retina.

In Safari Preferences, General, Safari Opens With...

Only 2 preferences are shown: 'All windows from last session'

and

'All previous non-private windows from last session'.

What happened to the choice of having Safari open with as

????

Let's see if I can get it all in the post this time...

OS 10.14.6, Safari 14.1.1, mid-2012 MBP Retina.

In Safari Preferences, General, Safari Opens With...

Only 2 preferences are shown: 'All windows from last session'

and

'All previous non-private windows from last session'.

What happened to the choice of having Safari open with a new blank window???
