I have no updates for Safari - but still have an old version of it (13.1.2) on my MacBook Air - anyone know how I can get the latest version? I can't find it in the App Store (and it's not showing as an update in the App Store) and I haven't got a 'Software Update' section in System Preferences? I'm on MacOS High Sierra - version 10.13.6. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

1. Because they don't check the OS version, only the browser, and won't know if the upgrades are compatible.
2. Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and depending on which Mac model you have, click on Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur.

Thanks Niel - but just wondered why I keep being told I need to update it on some links (like Teams)? Also my online Banking isn't working properly. My MacBook Air is 2017 - is it easy to upgrade the OS? Will that automatically upgrade Safari as well? Thanks again :)
You have the current Safari version for High Sierra; getting a newer web browser requires either upgrading the OS(if your MacBook Air is a 2012 or newer model) or switching to one such as Firefox.
