I mean:
Tap on Settings
Tap on Battery
You will see a list of apps, with the heaviest users of energy at the top of the list. Which apps are they? If you tap on one it will tell you how that app used energy.
If you have iCloud Sync enabled, that will use a lot of energy syncing initially, for a couple of days, so waiting a a bit may cause it to calm down on energy use.

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:
What's the Battery Health? If it is less than 80%, or very, very close, then the battery is likely faulty, and you'd have to get a new battery.
Look Up the Battery Health:
Time for a New Battery?
When the Battery Health is 80% or lower, it is time for a new battery.
Contacting Apple Support:
So, if the above is the case, then contact Apple Support:
Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

With 500 million phones (actually over 1.5 billion total) no matter what problem you have there are certain to be others who have it, no matter what the problem is. That does not make it a systemic problem. When there is a systemic problem you will see thousands of posts about it, like this:
That was a problem that affected 5 million phones. That’s almost 13,000 posts and 2.6 million views.

You need to define “so fast”. If you charge overnight, every night, with Optimized Battery Charging enabled it will be at 100% when you get up in the morning. If it gets through the day, ending at or above 20% charge, it is working as intended.
The same goes with, when there are less than 500 million reporting battery issues, it doesn’t mean that there’s no issue.
A quick Google search can confirm there are some people reporting similar issues.
Look under Settings > Battery and see which App is using the most power.
