Turn off notification alert for iPhone backup

Apparently apple is using my OCD against me. I cant stand having a red notification alert on my settings app. Right now unless I get an iCloud subscription to “backup my iPhone” there is no way to remove the alert. I backup to a pc. I don’t want the cloud. Please fix so this alert goes away.

Why can't I get rid of the little red circle on the iPhone Settings tab - concerning backups? I want to use a swear word, but I'll refrain. It's bad enough my iPhone keeps asking me to buy iCloud - saying "your iPhone can't be backed up." First of all - it CAN be backed up, to a local external drive. Second of all - just leave me alone! But on top of it, I can't get rid of the little red "1" alerting me to their demand that I buy it! And everyone knows you can't live another minute if you have little red "1"s on your iPhone! Someone fix the damn bug. Better yet, stop hawking your wares!

iCloud notifications Why doesn’t iPhone backup failed notification go away after I disabled automatic backups through iCloud on both my iPad and iPhone 11 Pro? I have tried doing a hard reset, resetting network settings and even created a backup and deleted it, just to find out the notification returns shortly after. It’s almost like the message is there on purpose..

Have you turned off iCloud backup in Settings, your name, iCloud?
