iphone 8 water damaged

So I was out biking and it started thunder storming. My iPhone screen has some cracks near the bottom and top on the side, you can see the inside of it. Anyways, when I got home there were weird lines on the top of the screen and and the bottom right section of my phone is unresponsive, near the delete key when you get the keyboard up. Will soaking it in rice fix it? or is there any ways for me to fix this at home without opening it
