Disconnected iPhone 7 Plus while syncing more than 1000 songs. Am i in trouble?

Ok, so today I was syncing my iPhone with my updated music library on iTunes. Note that it has been water damaged and the cable isnt functioning correctly. However, when it was syncing, the cable failed and "software disconnected" if you can call it that (it means that the software thinks there is no cable, event tho the cable is plugged in) I still reset it to factory settings just in case. Did that fix it or did i screw something up on the firmware level?
