No, it's not a hack. You had to physically enroll you'd devices to get the beta. This is something only you or someone with physical access to your iPhone could do.


Betas are pre-release versions of software. Apple makes them available to the public for feedback.


If you enrolled in the beta at any point, then you would get the beta updates. Or if you bought the device used, and it was not properly wiped, and the previous owner enrolled in the beta, then the device would continue to receive beta updates.


There is no hack here.
