Marking up a PDF bank statement on iOS

Hi

My situation is when I download a PDF bank statement from only one bank in particular, I am unable to mark it up on my iPad. I can however use my Mac desktop to do this. It simply creates a new copy and then I can markup on both desktop and iOS.

I have asked the bank to remove the owner password on statement PDF files, but the minions I get to help don't really understand and continue to use the line “You shouldn’t be editing a bank statement”.

They can’t seem to understand that I can do this on my Mac but not my iPad.

So is there a cunning workaround without me having to go to a desktop machine and duplicate the file please?
