WIFI connection keeps dropping when Mac goes to sleep

I just moved to Big Sur 11.4

I'm on a private network and every time my Mac goes to sleep my Wifi connect gets dropped.

If I click on the WiFi option on the menu bar and reselect my Preferred Connection it will log in, but this is very inconvenient to do every time.

Can anyone provide any insights as to what to do or how to trouble shoot?
