HomePod and iPad

I can’t get Siri to answer personal requests on HomePod mini with my iPad. I don’t have an iPhone and that makes her answer that my iPhone is not nearby…make sure it’s powered on etc. I turned on requests but no joy. It will not work unless you have a phone. It let me set it up with the iPad, why won’t it let me get personal requests with it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unable to place phone call from HomePod I am not able to place phone calls using HomePod. When I say Hey Siri, call xxxxx, Siri responds with “Before I can help you with that you’ll have to update your information in Siri settings on your iPhone”. I have enabled Personal requests on all of my HomePods and I see nothing relevant in Siri settings on my iPhone. Any ideas as to what’s wrong?

HomePod mini siri issue Describe the issue: -Siri responds to questions > "I have found some results, I can display those results if you ask again from your iPhone." -Restarted the iPhone 11 running 15.5 and the homepod mini running 15.5.1 and the network, same issue How can I make siri to read the answer she found on the web?

See Set up Personal Requests. Could you have missed out any of the requirements? Step 3 would seem to be important.
