Photo Booth still says "Can't Save Your Pictures," even after I carefully added my username with "read and write" permission to my username, in the files "Photo Booth Library" and "Photos Library.photoslibrary."
There are stills and videos along the bottom of the Photo Booth screen. If they are the problem, is there a way to purge them? (Or save and remove?)
Or is there some other system problem?
Do a Get info on your Home folder, unlock the lock in the Get Info panel. Make sure it says you have Read & Write privileges.

Thanks for your patience and expertise, BDAqua. Not in my Home folder, but in Pictures folder, I did manage to click and activate "Apply to enclosed items." Took a minute, and Photo Booth now works. Very grateful.
Unlock the lock, then... Using the tiny gear icon next to the tiny + & - icons. :)

Or can you click on the plus icon & add you or admin group?

Forgive my ignorance-- I can't find where I'd see a drop-down for "Apply to enclosed items+ . . . which does sound like what I need. Is it in Finder? Specific instructions welcome!
I can get to the drop-down menu, with the lock unlocked, but both of the items there, "apply to enclosed items" and "revert changes" are grayed out.
It does say, above the list of names & privileges, "You have custom access." Do I maybe need to upgrade that, somehow?
I have added "all administrators" to my identity and previous one. ("staff" and "everyone" are "read only.")
On the dropdown menu, "Revert Changes" is no longer grayed out but "Apply to Enclosed Items" still is, with the lock unlocked.
Photo Booth still sending that error message.
(I'm a little shy to post a screenshot showing my username, etc. Is there a secure way to do that?)
