Grey Out Files in "FILES" app on iPhone 11

Hi. Is there anyone facing grey out files in "FILES" app issue? It happens when I'm trying to transfer files from "on my iPhone" to "google drive". After transferring, it happens like this. Google Drive app doesn't show any grey out files, but the grey out files appear in google drive located under "FILES" app.

I have tried the actions below but still unable to resolve the issue:

log-out and re-sign into my google drive account
Restart the "FILES" app
Restart my phone

I troubleshoot with google teams and suspect the issue could be from IOS as I have tried on another iPhone (6s) and everything is fine. I do not see any grey out files in the "FILES" app.

I realized that when I transfer the same file in google drive located under "FILES" app and duplicate it, the duplicate file appears grey out.

Can you advise?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We understand that files in Google Drive on your iPhone are greyed out, so we'd like to see how we can help. Since this is only happening with one iPhone, make sure it's running the latest iOS version: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Then check for any updates that may be available for the Google Drive app: How to manually update apps on your Apple device. If the issue persists, try using another cable and port on your computer. If you're using a Mac, check to see if your iPhone is recognized by Finder. If you're using a PC, make sure iTunes recognizes your device.
