Mislabeled key in Apple's Calculator (in RPN mode)

Several keys in Apple's Calculator appear to be mislabelled when used in RPN mode. e.g. the "x to the power of y" button and the "yth root of x" button. In an RPN the x register is below the y register. if you proceed with the follow key strokes: 2, enter, 3, "x to the power of y button" you should get the result 9 appearing in the X register. What in fact happens is the result is 8. The calculator is actually giving the result for "y to power of x". A similar thing is happening for the "yth root of x" button". Surely this is not too difficult to fix. It is an annoying fault that should not be allowed to linger on.

Thanks for helping, dialabrain.

This turns out to be the explanation. I had been holding off upgrading to Big Sur and had assumed that the issue would not have been related to the System upgrade. It must have been fixed sometime after Caltalina for Big Sur. I should have upgraded before posting.
