my iphone 7plus has 256 GB and i have used 79 GB but when i try to transfer my old phone to my new
iphone11 it keeps telling me on the 7plus that i don't have enough memory and stops the process

are you a mathematician, haha are you telling me i have more info on my old phone than my new but! i can't seem to place it into the icloud, my phone keeps telling me i dont have enough space but i bought more space and it still won't let me move forward
Then you are out of space on your 11 not the 7. You will need to delete some data from the 7 to get it to work.
Is your iPhone 11 also 256GB.
