iphone 11 pro 256 gb transfer iphone 12 128 gb

Hello Apple Fanatics,

i have a issue that I am encountering with the installation of my new iphone 12.

i have a 11 pr0 256 gb of which I use only 70 GB. Therfore I decided for a Iphone 12 with 128 GB.

now when I am transferring and installing I get the message that I don't have enough storage..... which is strange as there is only a need for 70 GB

I did the tranfer torugh the direct connection between the old and new iphone
