Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you got a message that said your iPhone passcode is expired and we’d be happy to help! If your device has a profile, enterprise application or an email account setup that enable Mobile Device Management (MDM), then changing the passcode may be a requirement. To check for Mobile Device Management go to iPhone Settings > General > Device Management. Tap the Device Management Profile > More Detail > Mobile Device Management, if the profile lists a passcode policy, then you should contact the issuer of the profile for more information. If you don’t want to change your passcode you can tap “Later”.
