Note disappear after updating iOS 14

To start, let us know more about what's going on. Which model of device are you using, and what's the exact version of iOS installed? This can be found under Settings > General > About.

Have you had an opportunity to check the Recently Deleted folder of your Notes app? Are your notes syncing with any online services, such as iCloud, Google, Yahoo, etc.?

Thanks so much for clarifying. Are you currently syncing your notes with any online services, such as iCloud, Google, Yahoo, etc? If so, what happens when you sign into the website for any of those accounts? Are you able to locate your missing notes online?

If so, you'll simply want to ensure that those accounts are enabled under Settings > Notes > Accounts.

If not, ensure that the button for "On My iPhone" account is enabled under Settings > Notes, and check again. If you find that the issue persists, and there isn't another backup you can restore to your iPhone, the remaining option would be to manually recreate important notes, if at all possible.
