.spub file recovery
I emptied my trash bin w/ a file I wanted to keep. Can I recover the file? It was a .spub file.

Restore from your last Time Machine backup prior to your moving the file to the Trash. Once you empty the Trash, the contents are effectively gone for good.
As I have never encountered a .spub filename situation, I have no further advice, especially if it masquerades as something else. If the file existed long enough to be present for a Time Machine run, it would be backed up, and your account on iCloud has the ability to recover deleted files on a 30-day sliding window under Settings>Advanced.
I can't find the .spub file on my Time Machine or in iCloud. I've been reading that .spub files are either stored as something other than a file with .spub extention or not stored at all. Is this true?
