Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I got my daughter an Apple watch and set it up under my phone under family setup. She does not have a phone. The watch has its own number and is not linked to my number. It works great but I can't figure out how to set up her voicemail. We use Verizon. When I select "Call Voicemail" from her watch I get a "Call can not be completed" message.

It turns out it was an issue on Verizon's side. It just needed to be enabled. You can have a stand-alone apple watch with its own voicemail.

I use AT&T. So maybe this would work on Verizon, but maybe not.
If I dial by pressing and holding the “1” key, I get to voicemail.
