problem with my microphone

i use iphone8 and my microphone is not working like we can hear the sounds when i record on normal camera but not on other app and when people calls me they can’t hear me unless i don’t put speaker, does someone have this also

When I'm on a call or recording a voice memo, the microphone doesn't work and I can't hear anything. (Whether they call me or if I call) While if I record a video the audio is heard. I assume the recording works from different microphones. How can I check if it is a problem that can be solved by making some changes to the settings or if the problem is a hardware problem and therefore needs to be repaired? I've already tried turning off the noise cancellation and checking if the microphone is active from the settings, but it still doesn't work. Thank you all

microphone issue My mic doesn't work! Everytime I try to record something (video or audio) and also in phone call, I can't speak and even hear my interlocutore. It isn't possible to press "speaker" too.

Get help with the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Then test with the Voice Memos app.
