How do we share storage in family plan?

We have two on "sharing".

So, do we each bring our 5gb of free storage (=10 gb) ?

You still each have your own 5GB.

If you upgrade to a 200GB or larger plan, you can share that plan. You will each have your own private storage under your own Apple ID but each can use more storage (up to the 200GB (or larger) total for everyone) with only one billing.
