Without changing any settings, my display is like a negative. To get it back to almost normal, I had to turn on classic invert under the accessibility settings. However the colors are off. The reds look darker than usual.
This looks like a bug. All my display and accessibility setting were as always have been.
Go to Settings/Display & Brightness, turn off Automatic, and tap Light.
Then go to Settings/Accessibility Display & Text Size and turn off all settings with the possible exception of Auto Brightness.
