Missing received e-mails

E-mails sent from a game site not being received on wife's computer. Has been happening since last couple of OS updates. She has Big Sur 11.4 on Mac Book Pro. Other players are receiving their games so think it must be something wrong with one of the latest updates.

Any suggestions?

Hey there!

Do you know if they are being routed to the “Junk” or “Spam” folders instead of the inbox? Or any other folder for that matter?

Likewise, does the same happen on all of the devices using the email account? And/or on the email provider’s web site?

Knowing this may help a bit, thanks.

Hey again! No worries. If they weren’t showing up on ALL devices and across ALL/ANY network(s), and online/web mail, it probably was an issue with the email provider and a conflict with the email account itself. I’ve seen account providers block content and/or devices via the IP address all together, either for suspicious activity, or to protect an account’s security if suspicious activity has occurred, etc. that’s usually not the case, it would typically be due to a server outage, or local network issues, etc. anyhow if it was just a one time thing, I wouldn’t worry about it, glad it’s sorted out!
