Camera being used in background

three times now I have run into this issue where I have no applications open on my phone but I see in my screen time that my camera is running, each time it happens my camera is open for well over 15 HOURS. Again, no apps are open. I checked to see which apps have the ability to use my camera and there are maybe 4 that I’ve allowed permission. (Snapchat, school apps and banking stuff)

so my question to all of you very helpful people out there; why is my camera running when nothing is open?

this is what my screen time looked like when I woke up this morning, it started happening around 7 P.M. the night before:

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are having issues with your screen time showing your camera being used during hours it is not. We would love to provide support on this.

Screen time reporting incorrect information shouldn't take place. One of our recommendations would be to make sure your device is up to date on the latest iOS version 14.6. Here is where you can get help updating: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
