Apple Watch keeps locking itself when it is on my wrist

Hi,

My Apple Watch keeps locking itself when it is on my wrist. I have turned off and turned the wrist detection and unpaired/ repaired my watch with my phone and I am still having this issue.

Hi HaileyA96,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with locking your

Apple Watch. You want to make sure it is up to date and running the latest version of software on your watch. Learn how to Update your Apple Watch here. You also want to turn your passcode off. Do you currently have a passcode set up on your watch? You might want to check your Wrist Raise settings. If you don’t want to wake your Apple Watch when you raise your wrist, open the Settings app on your Apple Watch, go to General > Wake Screen, then turn off Wake on Wrist Raise.

Cheers!
