HP Smart not working

Since Big Sur 11.04 update the HP Smart program does not load

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.4

Go to the System/Printers & Scanners preference pane, Control (right) - click on your printer and select" Reset printing system…" from the contextual menu.

Then add the printer back.

If your printer is listing in this Apple document, About AirPrint - Apple Support, your printer model is AirPrint compatible. So choose the AirPrint model when reinstalling the printer.

Visit http://www.hp.com/support for driver updates for 11.0 or later for your printer.

I tried driver updates from HP but they ask to install HP Smart which it won't do. When you download from the App store and click on Open, nothing happens, therein is my problem. HP Part worked perfectly before upgrading to OS11.04.
