Upgrade Questions

I recently received an Early 2015 MacBook Pro as a gift! I was able to wipe it and reinstall Yosemite on it, but I am not able to upgrade past Yosemite! Everything I see suggests that this unit should be able to at least upgrade to Big Sur!

The computer is able to access my Apple ID and things that still work from back then still seem to work.

Anyone have any ideas as to what I should try next? Thanks in advance!
