Unless you jailbroke your iPhone it can’t get a virus. It sounds like you got a scam message from a criminal hoping that you will enter enough personal information to steal your identity, your money, or both. Hi Latricia,

I’d like to start by saying, Thank you very much for replying to my issue with my iPhone Virus problem. This virus issue has been going on for a few months now and continues showing up on my iPhone, specifically in my iPhone calendar… and to answer your question about where this Calendar Virus Event may have come from… No, I do not know where the calendar event may have come from. Also, I don’t click on random E-Mails or messages from unknown users, as well as clicking on events to be uploaded into my iPhone calendar. Every single iPhone calendar and put away and her, is on my phone through my phone typing. I’ve never, not even once have I clicked on a link, tab, etc… to add an event into my calendar. I use the calendar on a daily basis. It’s very important to me, with having dates set and reminding me of my upcoming events or appointments. How do I delete these viruses in my calendar? This is getting to a point where I am receiving multiple virus warnings daily and virus threats. I’d gratefully appreciate it if you can walk me through step-by-step instructions on how to delete and remove these virus threats. below this message I’ve posted a few photos of what the screen on my iPhone 8 says and looks like when this virus appears. Hopefully, the screenshot photos I’m providing you will help you in determining how to remove these numerous virus notifications. If you’re not able to provide me with a solution or step by step instructions on how to remove this virus, then please forward this message to someone who is knowledgeable in the situation I’m in and can help me with my iPhone 8 Virus problem. Please get back to me at your earliest convenience. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.

Sincerely,

Jakob D.

Did you follow the instructions to remove the rogue calendar?

You got tricked into installing a rogue calendar; your phone does not have a virus.

If your phone has iOS 13 or earlier: Go to Settings/Passwords & Accounts, look under Subscribed Calendars, tap on the offending calendar and delete it.

If your phone has iOS 14: Go to Settings/Calendar/Accounts, Tap Subscribed Calendars, tap on the offending calendar and delete it.

And in the future beware of "free" offers
