I am also having this issue. As of this morning, Numbers crashes after opening.

I am having this error too, but it occurs as soon as I open Pages. It does not stay open long enough for me to open any files. I have rebooted in safe mode, emptied ~/Library/Caches and restarted, to no avail. The application is unusable. Exact same error message as above.
