iPhone shows wrong initials for contact

My message screen has one of my contacts shown at the top where the conversations are. I’m not RC and cannot understand why my phone is showing his initials and when I want to message him, I have to click on his initials, whereas anyone else, I simply go to their contact. I’ve powered down my phone and have restarted it. Please help! I’m including a pic of what my screen looks like.
