Got 2020 MacBook Pro.

What is the best way to secure the network and what router or modem would sugtgest versus the Spectrum ones I have. I have had this earth globe icon in my files righ beside the hard disk and its labeled Network.... can't get any info out of it besides it says neighborhood and that's that. I still have the Network icon and found a way to get rid of the neighborhood label. But im thinking there was a guy with first moved to the neighborhood and passed out all these little flyers for everybody to go to this site and register in the neighborhood and everyone could communicate and safety blah blah. We live in a nice neighborhood but not that many houses and there's a cornfield and a beanfield around us and my kids ride their bikes to school that's a half mile away in a field. Not like im in little Harlem. Anyway I think these people somehow got the Neighborhood on my mamboed and have had access to all my stuff.

I have a newer MacBook Pro and I have spectrum service at my house for Internet and television it’s pouring a little over 200 megs per second I’m using the two spectrum separate router and modems. It’s not like it used to be now you can no longer login and actually change all the settings to your liking when it comes to securing it now it’s all on an app and you can longer change in the settings when it comes to spectrum I was just wondering what you guys would recommend for a good modem and router

Most of the space used by FCP is due to generated files, which are not needed and can deleted safely.

1) Go to Preferences->Playback and turn OFF "background render"

2) Select the library in the browser, and go to File->Delete Generated Library Files...

Check all the boxes, including All render files. Confirm.

3) Repeat for other libraries if necessary

4) Quit FCP and see how much space you have now.
