iCloud on Windows Calendar "Attention Required"

I have the iCloud app installed on the computer too because I thought it would be helpful to have my personal calendar connected to Outlook - I hated it and it crashed often.

SO then I connected my iCloud account to the Windows 10 Calendar app. I've had that set up for at least 8 months with no issues. In the beginning, I added my iCloud account to Windows Calendar. I enabled two-factor authentication on my iCloud Account. I generated a new password. Easy peasy. I loved being able to see all of my personal and work appointments on one calendar.

Just recently I started getting the notification "Attention Required" for my iCloud account. I click on "Fix account" and it wants me to put in my password. I have tried both my normal apple ID password AND the new generated password/verification code from my phone - a few times each. No dice.

Now, I have:

1) Deleted my iCloud account from Calendar on this device

2) Re-added the account

3) Deleted again from calendar, AND signed out/deleted account from the iCloud app.

4) Restarted my computer

5) Signed back in to the iCloud app, and added the account to the Calendar app

I still get "Attention required". I am at a loss, since I have followed all the required steps. I'm not sure what is going on or what I am missing.
