Fraud or Real email received

I received an email, stating someone logged into my account from a devide Iphone 6S Plus on June 8th, 2021. I was not in the state noted, VA on 6/8/21. It said you would lock my account permanently if I didn't update my account. Is this a real request or fraudulent?

Apple would never threaten to lock your account permanently. Please forward the email to reportphishing@apple.com and delete it, do not click on any links and do not hand over your personal information to scammers.
