I want to delete an app. I tried removing from Home Screen but there are no other options of deleting from phone. It’s stays in my library.

How do I delete the app from my phone to free up storage. I tried holding the app icon but it would only say that it will be removed from the Home Screen. It is still in my library. And in the settings there is no way of deleting it because it just shows the data info and nothing else.

The usual reason for no option to delete is that there may be a restriction set on deleting apps. On an iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps.

Please check: Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - iTunes & App Store Purchases - Deleting Apps = Allow.
