How do i recover a deleted text message conversation?

I accidentally deleted an entire text conversation yesterday evening. My messages are backed up to the icloud but the Messages icon is not there ... does anyone know if deleted message conversations can be restored without having to reset the entire phone?

If you have a backup made before you deleted the messages then restore the backup. Otherwise they are gone, sorry.
