My Notes and GroupMe widgets automatically went into a productivity widget for some unknown reason. In an attempt to restore them to my home screen they disappeared. They are both on my iPhone 8 but I can’t figure out how to get them back on my Home Screen. Any suggestions?

To verify, are you unable to add those widgets back to your Home Screen using the steps outlined in the following article? Use widgets on your iPhone and iPod touch
If so, does that continue after restarting your iPhone? Restart your iPhone
Additionally, is your iPhone all up-to-date? Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Hopefully those details will help to further isolate and address that behavior.

Were you also able to delete the productivity widget that showed up unexpectedly on your iPhone?
If you attempt to add the Notes widget to a different Home Screen, are you still only able to use the large size option?
Do you happen to have any available updates for the GroupMe app? How to manually update apps on your Apple device

I used the steps outlined and it did not resolve the problem of restoring my GroupMe widget. Neither did restarting my iPhone. My phone is up to date with software version 14.6. I did retrieve the Notes widget, but the only size that will load is large which takes the space of 4 regular size widgets!
I deleted the productivity widget because it indicated that the apps in it would not be deleted. That’s when the Notes and GroupMe widgets disappeared.
The Notes widget stays the larger size no matter where it is placed on the homescreen.
The GroupMe app has no available updates.
