iOS 14.6 Bluetooth issues

Since installing iOS 14.6 has anyone experienced Bluetooth not pairing with previously recognized devices? Specifically I cannot pair Fitbit device or Belkin keyboard. Have restarted everything numerous times.

My headphones will Bluetooth connect , but it drops and reconnects every 15 seconds or so rendering them useless. I turned off and on my phone, forgot the device and tried to pair it again, and it won’t pair now. It’s very annoying. I don’t want to purchase another pair of headphones 🎧 if the problem is an operating system glitch.

I haven’t had that Bluetooth issue in particular but my iPad Pro 11 2nd gen and iPhone 12 Pro on 14.6 won’t connect my AirPods Pro or Beats Powerbeats pro through Bluetooth unless I forget the device and reconnect them. They work for the first use but once I’m done and try to use them later, they will not connect. The only way is to forget the device and repair them. What the heck is going on Apple? After 15 years of owning an iPhone it may be time to switch. Any ideas how to fix this seamless it just works device/issue???

I just installed 14.6 today on my 10.5 inch iPad Pro. The apple pencil is no longer recognized. I told it to forget the device and plugged it back in and the bluetooth just spins forever. I don't have any other bluetooth devices to test it with, but the pencil was changed at about 70% and I had used it not long before the update. I suspect the update is the issue.

thats why I was posting here. I have tried

  • reset watch
  • reset phone
  • removing device from bluetooth on both
  • hard reset on both units phone and watch
  • deleted polar apps both beat and flow
  • reinstalled apps
  • made sure to crossreference updates on all devices both for apps/phone/watch/beat/flow/polar h10
  • new battery
  • cleaned all strap, device and reset PH10
  • tried with other apps

My Observations so far are that when I am in workout and connected to the polar h10 the AW HRM overides the bluetooth PH10 but light is dimmer giving inaccurate readings even from the watch

Soon as I disconnect the PH10 and forget it from BT the watch reads properly

Conclusion is I am very frustrated at this point. am ready to dump the watch and get the polar unit fitness ecosystem.

Any Help??

Apple is still the best at what they do for ecosystem BUT they are now of last few years overcomplicating things like Android Samsung does. They need to get their **** together for real and start using common sense forward thinking as to what will be affected BEFORE they release a new update. Its not that hard. however super easy to **** off their customer base with issues like this. KISS principle still rules guys.

I called Apple Support to discuss this issue and my disgust. I walked through all their suggestions and NOTHING changed the fact that my Bluetooth wasn't working properly. I didn't have the dropping and the failure to connect issue before the update. Things were running smoothly. When my Powerbeats Pro's wouldn't connect Apple's suggestion was to take them in and have them checked out at the Apple Store.... Please. There is and was nothing wrong with my Powerbeats. The problem is that ALMIGHTY APPLE will not admit that something is wrong. I have been a loyal customer for decades. This is disturbing and has me second-guessing future purchases from Apple. I don't trust their upgrades anymore. I am weary of their upcoming OS. So, what's the answer? What's the fix? I wish I knew or that Apple would be honest with its customers.
