App Store missing on new Apple TV 4K

The new Apple TV 4K was shipped this week. Installed fine and I can see movies. I am unable to locate App Store. It does not show on the Home Screen menu bar.

The Apple TV app with the menu bar is not the home screen. It is ‘just’ one of the apps.

You may want to reconfigure the TV/Home button, to go to the home screen, instead of the Apple TV app.

In what country or region is this being used, as matching the country or region of your Apple ID account? Some countries do not get an App Store. All App Stores are regional.

If the above is not the issue, then find the App Store by its blue icon with the stylized ‘A’ on it.

NB: The Apple TV App Store is not available on third party devices that have the Apple TV app.

It is ridiculously simple only if Apple spent a few pennies to provide the correct instructions. To find the App Store click on the button with a back arrow which brings up the menu with items such as Settings, App Store, and links to your downloaded apps that do not show in the Library. App Store does not show in the menu bar at the top of the main page for the Apple TV 4K.
